Nicky loves to sing many types of music, however her strongest singing style is soul, based on pleasing feedback given throughout her shows.

Jazz, Rock, Gospel and Theatre fit into Nicky's favourite genres to sing.

Music is a big thing in her family, her brother Simon McBride is an amazingly talented guitar player who loves to sing. He is a great inspiration to her. Alanis Morrisette also, for her originality and good song writing skills.

Singing may be a major passion for Nicky, however she enjoys song writing too and some day hopes to write a powerful song that can really touch people's hearts.
